综述类气象科技论文选题与写作中的若干问题及讨论

Discussion on several issues about topic and writing of review paper about meteorological science and technology

  • 摘要: 国内气象科技学术期刊基于提升自身核心竞争力和文献计量评价指标的现实需要,纷纷将综述类气象科技论文(Review Meteorological Scientific and Technological Paper, RMSTP)的约稿和组稿作为优化稿源质量的一种重要手段,使得高质量的RMSTP备受期刊青睐,也激发了众多气象科技人员写作RMSTP的积极性和投稿热情。为引导作者写好RM-STP、提高其投稿命中率,首先,介绍了RMSTP选题的4个原则,据此将其分为概述型RMSTP和论述型RMSTP两种类型;然后,阐述了RMSTP的写作动因、时间范围、空间范围、论题范围“四要素”的重要性及其文中如何恰当表达,再以近年来发表的3篇RMSTP为例,重点讨论了RMSTP正文结构及其内容表达、“总结”写作和文献引用需注意的若干问题。最后指出,写好RMSTP,客观上需要作者文献检索条件好、阅读量大、科研阅历深、写作经验丰富;主观上需要作者重视培养对特定学科或专业领域研究现状与发展趋势的敏锐性和洞察力,以及相应的综合分析、梳理和评述能力。

     

    Abstract: The academic journals of meteorological science and technology of China take the solicitation of review meteorological scientific and technological paper (RMSTP) as an important way to improve their core competitiveness and bibliometric evaluation indicators. Therefore, high-quality RMSTPs are favored by journals, and many scientists are also stimulated to write RMSTP. In order to advise the authors to write a successful RMSTP, this paper first introduces the four principles of the topic for RMSTP, and divides RMSTP into two types: overview type and discussion type. It highlights the importance of writing motivation and the scopes of time, space, and topic for RMSTP, and provides the suggestion about how to express them properly in the paper. Meanwhile, taking three RMSTP's published in recent years as examples, this paper focuses on the problems that should be paid attention to in the text structure and its content expression, summary writing, and literature citation of RMSTP. Finally, it points out that writing a successful RMSTP requires the author to read large number of literatures and have rich scientific research and writing experiences. In addition, the authors needs to develop themselves to have the sensitivity and insights to the scientific frontiers and development trend of certain discipline or professional field, as well as the corresponding abilities of comprehensive analysis and reviewing.
